At Focus on Intention our sessions are carefully curated to heal mind, body and spirit. A well rested mind brings clarity and a well rested spirit brings peace. Both are fundamental for emotional wellbeing. Have a look at what you can expect in your session.

Guided and Candle Meditation

During candle meditation we practice mindfulness by focusing on the flicker of the candleflame and slow deep breathing with specific intentions and visualisations. We follow on with a guided body scan meditation that focuses the mind and senses on a different place within the body for deep relaxation.

Sound Massage

This sound healing practice involves striking and playing singing bowls on the physical bodyto produce soothing vibrations and shamanic drumming like sounds which promoterelaxation and healing. The vibrations and sound waves are strategically sent through thebody, massaging the cells, and releasing tension.

Breathwork with Reiki

In the breathwork component we focus on releasing toxins and stress with the breath out, and nourishing the mind and body with the breath in. Breathwork involves consciously and mindfully changing breathing patterns to improve relaxation and calm the nervous system by allowing more air to circulate. Moving onto Reiki I place my hands on or above the body, in a series of locations, and heat or tingling may be felt as a result.

Sound Bath and Aura Cleansing Therapy

A sound bath is a full-body meditative experience where singing bowls are played near the head as you listen to the resonant sounds. As we move on to the Aura cleanse a bowl will be played over and moved around the body for a surround sound electromagnetic energy field reset.

Crystal Therapy with Chakra

Cleanse and Alignment
Crystals corresponding with the seven different chakra points may be placed on the body or
if there is a specific intention or concern a crystal can be held during the practice. The
charkas are opened, purified, aligned, and closed with the use of a pendulum, to restore the
body's vital energy. The session concludes with journalling the experience, thoughts, and
feelings. By the end of the session the body will be back to a state of pure unconditional
love.

A Pilates mat class can be a 1:1 or group (up to 4 people max to share the one cost) structured workout session that uses the a mat on the floor (with a combination of a number of props or body weight only) to guide you through a series of exercises. These classes are designed to improve core strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body alignment. They can also help to rehabilitate from injury. Sessions are suitable for beginners through to advanced.

NOTE - I am also pre and post natal trained so you can exercise safely whilst you are preparing for pregnancy, are pregnant and after you have given birth.

We will talk about the energy centers, what they represent and how to tell if they are blocked and then work through techniques to cleanse and align, as well as disconnect.  This is a safe and fun practice and will leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
